Convenience and Lecitein's Customer Portal

One of the concerns that almost all lecithin customers across the globe have is the traceability of their supply chain network. The issue has existed for aeons. I say this because I have been hearing it my entire career. And, I have been in this industry for a long while now.

Unfortunately, with war looming over in Eastern Europe, and the constant threat of lockdowns due to an ever-evolving pandemic, this concern about the traceability of the supply chain has only grown.

And, for the sake of the customers’ peace of mind and convenience, I took it upon myself and my company, Lecitein Limited, to find a solution to this problem. So, I put together months of research, years of experience, and a supply chain network that’s spread worldwide, to develop a state-of-the-art Customer Portal.

How Our Customer Portal Works

Not everyone is enough tech-savvy to operate and manoeuvre fancy apps. That was one of my major concerns when having the customer portal developed. So, I instructed my team to give it a simple user interface so that it can be operated by anyone with basic computing skills.

And it is quite simple. Still, to keep the confusion at a minimum, through this guide, I will walk you through everything step by step.

Step 1: Placing the Order

The first step is very much self-explanatory. It involves placing an order with Lecitein Limited. Once the order is received, you will get a confirmation email containing a purchase order number. It will look something like PO12345678. When you have received that email, you are ready to access the customer portal and track your order.

Step 2: Accessing the Customer Portal

With the PO number now available to you, you can access the customer portal. To access it, you simply need to open up your browser, go to the company website lecithein.com and access the customer portal using the yellow button at the top right corner of the screen. As you click on the button, you will be asked to enter a tracking ID. The tracking ID is the order number you received via email.

Step 3: Tracking the Process

After you have entered the PO number the system will run it through the servers to confirm the tracking number and grant you access to the customer portal. You will immediately notice that the customer portal reflects the current status of your order. If you are using the customer portal for the first time, it will show your order status as being prepared.

Depending on the quantity of lecithin you have ordered, the preparation time can take anywhere from a few hours to a few days. The portal also shows you the estimated time of dispatch and delivery.

Once your order is ready for dispatch or pickup, depending on what you requested at the time of order, the status is immediately updated on the portal. The order status updates on the customer portal are real-time.

Meaning, you are always up to date about what’s happening with your order, from the time you place the order and the initial Purchase Order is generated, all the way to when it is delivered. Even if there are any delays due to some unforeseen circumstances, you are notified about it on the portal, keeping you always in the know.

The Convenience that is Our Customer Portal

But the conveniences that the customer portal offer does not just end there. Apart from the orders being completely traceable, the portal also holds the record for the last twelve months. So, everything is at your fingertips when you need it.

The portal also allows you access to the COA, CMR, and other reports and paperwork that you may need. All at a touch of a button, at your convenience.

And, if, for some reason, you cannot access the customer portal, Lecitein Limited keeps you updated about the progress of your order via emails. Again, from the time the order is placed and confirmed until it is delivered, you are notified at every step through emails.

Conclusion

Our customer portal is a first in the industry and it is accessible to all our customers. It was designed around convenience. As a global supplier of lecithin, it is important for Lecitein Limited to provide customers with services that give them an advantage over their competitors.

With the customer portal, you always know where your order stands so you can easily plan out your production ahead of time. And, with the ability to access the paperwork and reports for the past twelve months, maintaining records becomes easier.
